More and more attacks – commonly known as “clickjacking” are taking place on facebook – propogated unknowningly by a link that asking you to “click here to continue”  which has the effect (through a hiden iframe) of making the message be published on your facebook page – from which a friend clicks on your page and it moves to theirs, etc, etc, etc.

Solution – a) do not click on a “click here to continue” message.

Solution  b) – review your news feeds and delete the offending messages and then deleting them from your “likes & interests” section.

Leaving them there just allows these to flourish and lowers the level of trust your friends place in your facebook page.

Known messages of this nature include “LOL This girl gets OWNED after a POLICE OFFICER reads her STATUS MESSAGE.”, “This man takes a picture of himself EVERYDAY for 8 YEARS!!”, “The Prom Dress That Got This Girl Suspended From School.”, and “This Girl Has An Interesting Way Of Eating A Banana, Check It Out!” on a friend’s Facebook page.
